Service Description

This Panel combines 3 tests which can be used to assess a person's risk for cardiovascular disease, heart attack, or stroke. The Comprehensive Heart Health Panel includes: Lipid Panel C-Reactive Protein High Sensitivity Homocysteine A Lipid Panel is the standard and most commonly ordered cholesterol test. It measures Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides, and VLDL. A CRP High Sensitivity test measures a protein which can be a risk factor for events like a heart attack or stroke. Elevated Homocysteine levels can increase the risk of blood clots as well as heart attack or stroke. Turnaround time for the Comprehensive Heart Health Panel is typically 2-5 business days.
